Be prepared to read from the script. Be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a musical theater song (approximately 45 seconds to a minute). Please select a song from another musical theater show, not this show. Bring sheet music for the accompanist. CD/recording is acceptable if it is instrumental (no vocals), but sheet music is preferred. No acapella, please!
Cast/parent meeting is on February 4 at 6:00 PM. Rehearsals begin February 5 and will be Mondays - Thursdays from 6-8:00. Rehearsals will take place at Free Church in High Point (3021 N Main Street Suite 101). Be prepared to list all conflicts between February 4- March 24. Participation in load-in and strike is mandatory.
You may go to hpct.net to download the audition form and conflict calendar and bring completed to the auditions. Additional copies will be available at auditions. A parent must sign the audition form.
